GIGAWATT Cable in-Wall LC-Y MK3 3X4

LC-Y MK3 3X4 is a shielded montage cable made by GigaWatt, designed to power audio-video systems prone to interference. This professional cable, a proprietary design from GigaWatt, improves the efficiency of every one-phase power grid with 110-240V voltage, allowing to maximally exploit the potential of each system.

In the improved version of the cable, new kind of conductor, with very high conductance, was used, as well as a new isolator. Lossless flow of power is enabled by massive working strands of the cable, made from three solid core conductors. Those are made from high purity electrolytic copper, each with a 4QMM diameter. The isolation of the conductors is made from flexible polypropylene with lowered dielectrical constant. The wires are twisted together and shielded with aluminum-polyester foil, which has full length contact with a bare, tin-coated wire with 1.5QMM diameter. A very tight static shield, covering 100% of the surface of the cable, protects against external EMI and RFI interference and prevents the occurrence and spreading of internal interference. The conductors, together with shielding, are engulfed within an elastic material, which protects the cable against external vibration. The cable as a whole is protected by an external coating made from extremely flexible, but very durable PVC.

Montage of the LC-Y Mk3 3X4 is recommended in installations powering amongst others listening rooms, recording studios, cinema halls, etc. Fulfilling the directives LDV 73/23/EEC and 93/68/EEC this cable performs brilliantly in places with increased electromagnetic radiation: airports, hospitals, computer workrooms and server rooms as well as labs with sensitive measuring equipment. Home power networks wired with this cable are a splendid solution for people sensitive to electromagnetic radiation.
