Handcrafted cables using the best copper on the market (also used in our IeGo sockets): oxygen-free red copper from Furukawa PCUHD.

Furukawa PCUHD red copper is considered (and rightly so) to be the purest copper in the world. It is made in two stages:

The copper is “melted” and “molded” using non-temperature resistant materials, then stretched directly without being rolled (which can add impurities). This makes it possible to achieve a 4N grade (99.99% copper purity), and to retain great malleability and to be drawn with precision to achieve an impressive fineness of wire.

Oxygen is one of the most common impurities in copper products. For this reason, no gas burner is used for the manufacture of the cable, and the equipment is filled with noble gas.

Thanks to these precautions, we are able to offer headphone cables of exceptional purity, whose oxygen level has been controlled to less than 5ppm, well below the prerequisites for claiming oxygen-free copper.
